Our Choirs

Concert Choir is an auditioned mixed choir performing high quality SATB music throughout the school year.  Though most members are seniors and juniors, this class is open to students in any grade level.  Since it is a more rigorous ensemble, seniors in Concert Choir receive a weighted grade “honors credit.”  Students selected for Concert Choir must demonstrate strong sight-reading abilities in an audition held in March of the preceding school year.  Voice and/or piano lessons are encouraged for those interested in auditioning.

There is a small pay-to-participate fee, but this group performs quality, fun repertoire at school concerts and Showtime.  Members of Men’s Chorus will rent our uniform of a custom blazer and tie for use in regular school concerts.

Unofficial ensembles may include the following:

  • Churchills and Sirens – student-run a cappella groups
  • Student quartets
  • Showtime specialty acts
